Parijat Dey is the Chief Technology Officer at Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited, bringing over 18 years of rich experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology, & innovation across global organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. At Mahindra Lifespaces, she is responsible for shaping the company’s technology vision & strategy, with a focus on embedding digital innovation into core business processes, building future-ready platforms, & harnessing emerging technologies to create differentiated customer experiences. She also plays a key role in driving operational excellence & enabling scalable, sustainable growth through technology-led transformation.
Parijat began her career with Infosys Technologies after completing her B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur. She later pursued an MBA in Marketing from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Over the years, she has spearheaded several high-impact technology initiatives, driving the adoption of emerging technologies & re-engineering business processes to create measurable business outcomes. At Viacom18 Media Pvt. Ltd., she led enterprise technology & data engineering functions, successfully implementing over 25 enterprise applications across business functions & orchestrating Big Data initiatives on Microsoft Azure. Her work on Big Data implementation was recognized as an industry benchmark in a case study with Databricks.
In December 2020, Parijat joined PwC Acceleration Center India as Director – Head of Digital Innovation & Strategy, where she was later elevated to lead AI, Technology, & Innovation across seven global acceleration centers. She has been instrumental in driving strategic AI adoption, developing generative AI solutions, championing Metaverse applications, & promoting low-code/no-code technologies. Her initiatives also included launching the 'Tech for Good' platform, benefiting over 20 NGOs across India through digital upskilling programs. A recognized thought leader in emerging technologies, Parijat has deep expertise in AI/ML, cloud computing, RPA, & digital transformation. She is an active speaker at industry forums & leadership conclaves, has contributed to leading publications like CIO Review, & is a strong advocate for diversity & inclusion, having served on the Women in Technology (WIT) steering committee at PwC.
Beyond her professional role, Parijat continues to expand her knowledge, most recently completing a certification in “Ethics of AI” from The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
