Jaipur, 30th March 2026: Mahindra World City Jaipur Ltd. (‘MWC Jaipur’), a joint venture between Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. (MLDL) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), successfully hosted Mahindra World City Jaipur Half Marathon on Sunday, 29th March 2026. As a continuation of the recently held Mahindra World City Chennai Marathon, the event brought together Jaipur’s growing community of fitness enthusiasts, amateur runners, and seasoned athletes. The marathon saw participation from over 3000 runners across age groups and abilities.
The marathon was flagged off by the honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, who encouraged the runners and stressed on the importance of a healthy lifestyle for the youth. The flagging off was followed by the planting of a sapling at MWC Jaipur, where the honourable Chief Minister reaffirmed MWC Jaipur’s commitment to building and maintaining a sustainable ecosystem for businesses.
Designed as a community-led initiative, the marathon featured multiple categories, including the Half Marathon, 10 km run, 5 km run, 3 km run, and a 1 km shorter run. With a strong focus on safety and seamless execution, the event was supported by comprehensive on-ground arrangements, including hydration points, medical support teams, and advanced route management systems. Volunteers and city authorities worked in close coordination to ensure efficient traffic management and a secure, smooth experience for all participants.
Speaking at the event, Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan said, “I want to congratulate the organisers for conducting the event at a place where business flourishes. It is the first such event at this business hub, and hopefully, it will be an annual event.”

Chennai, February 22, 2026: Mahindra World City Chennai successfully hosted the 4th edition of the MWC Marathon on Sunday, 22 February 2026, marking the much-anticipated return of the marquee running event. Organised by the MWC Runners Club in collaboration with Mahindra World City Chennai, the MWC Marathon 2026 witnessed strong participation of over 4,700 runners across age groups and reaffirmed its position as a professionally curated, world-class running event.
A key highlight of this edition was its AIMS-certified course, accredited by World Athletics, ensuring internationally recognised standards, precise distance measurement, and credibility for competitive runners and enthusiasts alike.
The marathon featured five race categories – 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, 10 km (timed) and 21.097 km Half Marathon (timed), catering to runners across age groups and fitness levels. The event was hosted at Mahindra World City Chennai, with a two-day lifestyle Expo with bib distribution and comprehensive on-ground support including hydration, medical and physiotherapy services.
