Our approach to sustainable development is multi-fold and categorized into five main components:

  • Land acquisition – After due-diligence of the site, the environmental and social impact assessment is considered to identify risks. This also helps to figure out the mitigation measures which include air pollution control, waste minimization, and biodiversity conservation.
  • Design – Customer-friendly design with the adoption of following practices:

    • Use of non-toxic, ethical and sustainable building materials
    • Rainwater harvesting
  • Construction – Health and safety of workers, resource optimization, waste minimization and reuse, water conservation and pollution mitigation are the steps taken during the construction phase.

Mahindra World City Jaipur was awarded Gold pre-certification under the IGBC Green SEZ rating system. It is also Asia’s first and world’s largest project to receive Climate Positive Development Stage 2 certification, a recognition given for successfully creating a detailed framework to reduce carbon emissions and achieve a climate-positive outcome.
