for some reason, you do not wish to take delivery of a
housing unit purchased by you, you can cancel your booking.
However, for this you will have to file a Deed of Cancellation
with Registrar. In addition, normally some money is forfeited.
The quantum of forfeiture varies from developer to developer
and the maximum amounts are also stipulated by various
local bodies. |
